1. Record screen via the screen recording shortcut in the Notification bar

Step 1. Pull down the notification bar of the Realme X2 Pro.

Step 2. Click the edit icon on the top right corner.

Step 3. Find the “Start Screen Recording” icon in the notification center. Then drag the icon up to the notification bar and click “Done”.

Note: If the “Start Screen Recording” icon has already been in your notification bar, please skip the step 2 and step 3.

Step 4. Long press the “Start Screen Recording” icon in the notification bar to perform some settings of the screen recording according to your needs. For example, if you want to record screen with the system sound (internal sound), you can enable the “Allow Sound Recording” button. Then the audio from your phone's microphone will be captured in the video recording. In addition, you can also set the video resolution (high 720P, low 480P).

Step 5. After finishing the screen recording setting, you can go back to the notification bar to click the “Start Screen Recording” icon. After a 3-second countdown, the screen recording will start. Then you can demonstrate the screen recording contents.

Step 6. If you want to stop the recording, just click the float recording icon to end the screen recording.

Step 7. Find the your screen recording video in the gallery or file manager.

2. Record screen via Smart Sidebar

The Smart Sidebar is a shortcut to access the screen recording feature. To enable it, just follow the steps below:

Step 1. Go to Settings - Convenience Aid - Click “Smart Sidebar” - Turn on the “Smart Sidebar”. Then the Smart Sidebar will become a white line stuck on the right side of the phone’s screen.

Step 2. Then swipe your fingers from the right side of the screen to the left side to activate the Smart Sidebar.

Step 3. Tap the “Screen Recording” icon to start your screen recording.

Step 4. If you want to stop the recording, just click the float recording icon to end the screen recording.

Step 5. Find the your screen recording video in the gallery or file manager.
